Last time I was here was before covid, but I am glad to see that the menu has changed. You have a lot more choice now than before! The quality of the food has also improved quite a lot! I can highly recommend a visit here. The place has a nice quiet, but cosy atmosphere that really makes it stand out from other places. Parking is no problem!

We were looking for a few hours out and a hot meal in a cosy venue, and found just that, with a bit of a bonus. The private clubhouse at Kitty Hawk Aerodrome, is a great place on Boschkop Road in Pretoria East, accessed via Lynwood and Graham Roads. We knew we had found one when cheerful Edward at the access control greeted us with a wide smile, and directed us through. The welcome we received from amiable host, Lynette, and Assistant, Marlise, was just as warm as the glow from the central 360° wood fireplace. Great food, amazing decor and ambience, and lovely people. And of course, if you are lucky, one can enjoy watching the skilled pilots practicing for future events. Even kids have their playground plane to keep them occupied, with outdoor dining area in close proximity. Kudos to the Body Corporate for maintaining & making this fantastic venue available.
What a great experience, to sit at the Cafe and watch a wide array of small aircraft coming and going, while having a bite to eat, is just awesome! The food at the Cafe is OK, pretty basic but nice, service is really good, so the whole experience is definitely worth it! A great break from the city, to spend a few hours here.
This is a great spot for a breakfast run or a family day out, The restaurant is so close to the airfield you can see everything and yet not so close that it's too noisy. Kids play area and a great menu and staff. Well worth the visit
Love this little gem in Pretoria. One of our favorite stops when riding on Sundays. Food is very nice, and the staff become family

This is a wonderful airfield to take a drive or a fly out to. All people working here are accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and unrushed, with strong family orientation. Time is passed enjoying aircraft flying in and out, as well as occasional aerobatic flying displays. Lynette who runs the restaurant is always on hand to greet and help out, she is an icon for regulars to this establishment. Will always recommend it to those who want to just sit back and relax, and soak the day in slowly. And…it is dog friendly! From a flying point of view there is plenty of parking space, fuel is available and airfield is well run. Landing surface is excellent. There also is an aerobatic box.
Went to Kitty Hawk. For there 50 years anniversary. Was great to see a lot of different types of planes,Couple of helicopters as well,was not as busy as last year probably due to the other airshow that was taking place in Pretoria.Was still a nice experience.There was at least thirty different types of planes. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. Had coffee earlier on afterwards aye curry & rice.Had a couple of cold ones.Menu prices are reasonable Definitely recommended on a Saturday when the planes are there.
